Drawing series “Boxes”, illustrations exhibited at Centro de Inovação da Mouraria during October-December 2019.
“Boxes” is a study about womanhood, a thorough search for the feminine through emotive and enclosed portraits. Each woman, cloistered within the limits of her own part, describes a state, a mask or a moment of living as a female. The imagined characters, with diverse personalities and appearances, represent advantages and disadvantages of existing as a woman.
